No-Bake Flourless Brownie Energy Bites
I stumbled upon this recipe while working on a baked brownie recipe. I have two other yummy energy bite recipes on the blog: Healthy Raw Cookie Dough Energy Balls and No-Bake Quinoa Energy Bites. These brownie-inspired energy bites are my most decadent and chocolatey ones yet.
It has three compartments which are perfect for filling with these tiny energy bites and other small snacks. I sometimes fill the largest compartment with the chocolate energy bites and then fresh fruit such as grapes or blueberries in the other smaller compartments. .
No Bake Brownie Bites
I thought I would share my recipe for No Bake Brownie Bites here on my blog. Check out this yumminess…This recipe is super easy but you do need a food processor or powerful blender to create the ‘brownie mixture’. The recipe includes low FODMAP and gut friendly ingredients: dark cocoa powder, walnuts, raisins, pure maple syrup and vanilla extract.
Small amounts of raisins are considered low FODMAP per both Monash U and FODMAP Friendly. For additional fun and flavor, you can roll the ‘bites’ in shredded coconut, hemp seeds, chia seeds or maybe mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (my husband’s personal fav)! .
